genuinely I think we gotta petition fromsoft to change how it works if not outright remove it. permanently losing levels being a constant risk the entire length of the run, not being able to stop for three seconds to pick boss rewards, it's AWFUL. I have gotten run after run where the second the event begins both my allies altF4, and I don't blame them in the slightest
