How to make XM6 more comfortable? (clamp force)

XM6 just came in. Is it possible to “break in” the headphones by stretching it and moving it around to loosen up the clamp force? It’s a bit too strong but otherwise everything else is perfect

I’ve heard it gets better with time but wondering if I can speed up the process
