cs internships

im a rising sophomore here and my internship search was rough. i wasnt expecting an internship at a big tech company or anything like that but i was not able to get anything more than an OA. i hate to see the gloom on r/csMajors but its hard for me to ignore after my experience especially coming from a school like MIT. what has the search been like for everyone else?
