[F4A] Tagged: The slow normalization of candids and creep shots on social media

NSFW RP - Ongoing

It started as a feature. Just another update.

The rollout of AutoTag didn’t make headlines. Facial recognition already powered most platforms anyway, so tagging people automatically in any image - whether they posed for the photo or not - felt like a natural progression. “Improving memories” was the tagline. It was clean, efficient, frictionless.

But the biggest and most impactful change wasn’t the one in the tech. It was the one in the culture.

Within weeks, people realized how often they were appearing in strangers’ photos. Sitting on a park bench. Stretching at the gym. Reaching for groceries. The system didn’t care if it was candid or posed - it just identified, tagged, archived. And then it started suggesting. “Improve accuracy in your area.” “Tag unlisted faces.” “Top contributors get early access.” Cameras got smaller, cheaper, and started coming with platform integration baked in.

Soon, to some, or even many, it became a kind of game.

There were no official leaderboards, but certain users were known for their “discoveries.” The algorithm quietly boosted content with bodies in motion, exposed skin, vulnerability. Creep shots of girls bending down, licking ice cream, dozing on buses - they weren’t labeled that way, but the reaction metrics told the story. Tags turned to bookmarks. Hashtags, collections, and even private links circulated under vague euphemisms. Some girls trended for weeks without ever knowing why.

And this subtle exposure gradually begins to turn into something more humiliating.

The shift was slow. Clothing changed - not because people wanted it to, but because they were learning what got attention. There was power in being seen, and shame in realizing how little control you had over it. Friends would tease each other about being “feed-worthy.” Some leaned into it. Others learned too late that they’d become known, not for who they were, but for how they were caught. Society never explicitly asked for this pornified surveillance grid - but doesn’t exactly put up any meaningful fight against it either.

I’m looking to write out the experience of one, or ideally more, characters in this world. We could play with power dynamics, exposure, slow unraveling, algorithmic humiliation, social rewards for the unethical, and the uncomfortable truth that being seen is never neutral. The uncomfortable truth of seeing your followers skyrocketing, because your name has started trending on some pervy new hashtag.

If you liked this prompt, are into slow corruption, or even just want to throw ideas around, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s build something twisted, subtle (at first!), and hot.
