DAT retake?

3.45 GPA/sGPA , 430 TS and 430 AA

I’m applying to 8ish schools and I want to stay in CA but I’m also willing to go out of state. I’m thinking I should retake the DAT to be competitive but I also want to apply now since I think I have a good chance of getting into at least 1 school this cycle.

If I plan to retake, and mark my second test as “in progress”, will my app be considered incomplete? Should I not indicate my score is in progress until I get my results back if I were to retake?

I don’t want my app to be put aside after I submit since I plan to submit in June but maybe I should retake incase the scores come back before they take a look at it lol
