Unable to obtain endoscopy images from SGH?

General

Had an endoscopy done at SGH most recently. After the procedure, they showed me a report with images of the endoscopy while I was recovering at the resting area.

As I was discharged, the nurse took the report with the images back. I asked her where is the copy for the patient? She said that copy is for the doctor only and there won't be a copy for the patient. Instead, they only provided me with a summary report of the endoscopy without images and she said that I would have to ask the doctor for it.

On my follow up appointment, the doctor told me that the endoscopy images are scanned into the system and they don't have that copy with the images. And they are unable to print it out for me as the printer in the clinic is not a coloured printer.

I was given a copy of my endoscopy report with images previously when I did the scope as an unsubsidised patient at SGH. I mentioned this to the doctor and he said thats because the service for unsubsidised patient is different.

How can I obtain the images of my endoscopy should I wish to seek a second opinion? It seems really bizarre that the patient does not recieve a copy of the endoscopy report with the images
