Do lawyers ever feel guilty for representing someone?

Mainly referring to criminal attorneys, but there are likely other examples. Have you ever felt bad for representing your client well?

One example that stands out to me are people charged with sex crimes. Would you feel guilty representing them and doing things like discrediting witnesses that are alleged victims of the client?
