Help with behavior change in cats

I’ve had two cats for well over a year she was a spayed adult cat and i got a intact male kitten they were besties the whole time my male cat recently had his puberty and my female cat became very reactive to him hissing and growling and he retaliated until they had a true cat fight. I immediately got him neutered and have kept the cats separate for a few weeks now that i’ve let him back into our house he’s getting along with everyone except my female cat who again starting with hissing he originally ignored her and avoided contact but he was slowly started to react to her again ex. chasing her around after she hisses i don’t know what i can do to help i feel like he’s only reacting to her but in the end he’s being way more aggressive than she is they used to be completely okay with each other. its only been about two weeks since his neuter do we think she’s still reacting to his scent i can no longer keep the cats separate due to me being induced this week i do not want to rehome anyone but don’t know what more to do
