Any advice
Been dealing with mental weirdness | looking for some advice
So, at the start of last year, I got hooked on this game way too much. I was also kinda unhealthy — sleeping late, not drinking enough water, eating junk. Then one day, I started seeing the game visuals in my vision, and that freaked me out. Like, if I thought I’d see it somewhere, I actually did. This went on for a while but then it kinda stopped.
Thing is, the thought stuck in my head, and when I’d think about something else, I’d start experiencing similar stuff, but weaker. This kept happening for a good chunk of the year, then I was mostly fine. I stayed good and chill through the start of this year.
But then on May 24, there was a show with a mental health scene that hit me hard and reminded me of all that. After that, I started feeling those weird mental vibes again — not the game visuals, but the anxious, hyper-aware feelings in my head and then visualising its there then its not. I don’t like it, but I’ve been trying to sleep early and improve my mood and health. Still, it kinda lingers.
Yesterday, I even went to the zoo and walked for a few hours, probably tired me out. Now, I’m hearing birds chirping outside and feel super aware of every little sound, like my brain’s on high alert.
I’m guessing it’s anxiety messing with me, and I know this stuff usually fades with time, but damn, it’s exhausting. Anyone else been here? How do you deal with it? (am i overthinking this?)
