Am I being dumb?

I keep having confidence issues with myself in being trans, and I started HRT about 2.5 weeks ago, with the goal of trying it to see if I was right. The plan was give it a month and see how I feel, which really hasn't changed since before it so far. Im pretty sure I'm gonna up it until 2 or 3 months, for a few reasons.

The 1st being i still shouldn't have permanent effects by then, and hopefully I'll feel more confident by then, and better about myself.

The 2nd being ive not doing well with mental stuff, mostly because I'm in a "safe" house with my family, but they drive me insane regularly, and there is past trauma from them. That on top of usually being way too busy with work and its about to get worse, I rarely have time to myself, and I spend a lot of that with friends online, so I've not had the most time to experiment with stuff (also money)

The 3rd is that I'm starting therapy next week, so hopefully that'll help with stuff altogether.

And the 4th is the really dumb bit. I'm so back and forth on "I'm trans" and worrying im not... I've had several instances where I've caught myself hoping the changes were faster and had already started. I dont understand still worrying after that, but I do.

Anyways yeah. Probably extending the "trial". Does this actually sound dumb? I might just being critical of myself.
