Question about getting covid vaccine now and possibly again in september?

Is it worth getting now if i havent had it in 6 months?

Like if I get covid shots now, would i not being able to get a booster for new variants on September?

I ask because my pharmacist said it would come with new flu vaccine in September. And i should might as well wait..

But...

I just wanted to be safe and get both covid now and september if possible. I have bad history of double pneumonia, mom died from covid, etc so im nervous.
