Thinking of buying a Twsbi eco

I currently own a Lamy Safari and I'm a big fan, but I've been wanting to try something different. So I've been thinking of getting a Twsbi eco, but I've heard they aren't super durable/tend to crack fairly easily. That would be an issue for me as I would be carrying it daily in the pocket of my cargo pants alongside my Safari. Do you think it would be best to get a Twsbi eco or is there another pen for a similar price that offers a different feel from the Lamy Safari?
