Toxicity

General Discussion/Questions

Is it just me, or can the sprinting/track and field community be unnecessarily toxic at times? I made a post discussing Bolt's 40m split on his 9.58 100m and Su's 60m split on his fastest 100m, questioning if we may have already reached the fastest 100m times/splits possible. After this, I kept getting criticized, and people said I was "wrong", when it was simply a hypothesis so I don't understand what I did or said "wrong" for this to happen. Also, someone assumed I "did not run" solely because of what I post, but what I choose to upload on reddit is my choice. I'm still practicing anyway.
