Looking to Build a Non-Flashy Gaming PC — $1,000–$1,500 Budget
Hey everyone!
I’m looking to build a new PC and could really use some help and recommendations. My budget is in the $1,000 to $1,500 range.
My Preferences: • Case Size: I’d like to stick with a mid or mini tower, as long as it doesn’t limit performance too much. I really don’t want a huge case taking over my desk. • Aesthetic: Absolutely no RGB and no glass panels. I want a clean, low-key build — ideally something that just looks like a plain black box. • Connectivity: No Wi-Fi needed; I’ll be hardwired via Ethernet.
Games I Play: • I’d like to revisit Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 • Definitely want to be ready for the new GTA when it drops • Also casually play WoW, EVE Online, Civilization, and Stellaris
Would love to hear what you all recommend — especially on the best value parts that don’t compromise too much on performance just to stay quiet or minimal.
Thanks in advance!
