Cat DNA Kits for Genetic Predispositions

I had a black cat named Talia who was my little daughter, unfortunately one day she randomly passed while sleeping under the couch when she was only nine because of a no discernible illness or shown pain. I’ve had Magick who is my new black kitty and because of that traumatic event I’ve been paranoid about similar issues. I’ve been considering purchasing and getting one of those genetic predisposition tests but am curious if they are worth it or seem shady. Anyone who’s done them and it seems useful?
