Title IX Violation- Help

Administrative

Location: Southern U.S. (Louisiana)
About me: College student in a program with mostly female classmates

Hi everyone, I’m sharing my experience to get advice on what steps I can take next.

I reported a professor in my program for violations under Title IX, but the school’s internal investigation cleared him despite what I believe is strong evidence. I also have a witness who works at the school and supports my account. Here’s what happened:

Evidence I have (photos and messages):

  • Threatening texts after I distanced myself from him
  • Sharing of other students’ test materials (including actual test photos)
  • Offered to let me grade students’ tests (documented in texts)
  • Sharing other students’ emails with me (captured in photos)
  • Invited me out under the pretense of “dropping the lowest test grade,” which I believe was coercive and an abuse of power (with extensive text proof)

Witness account includes:

  • Sexual comments about a supervisor
  • Sexual comments or behavior directed at me
  • Providing alcohol to a minor

I was brave to come forward, but the school took no disciplinary action against him, and he remains employed. No law enforcement was involved—it was only handled internally by the school.

Does anyone have advice on what I can do next? Are there external agencies or legal steps I should consider?

Thanks in advance for your support.
