So instead of doing two separate posts a decided just knock it out in one so here goes a quick little review and opinion on both.

CDNIM Extrait De Parfum- it goes without saying that CDNIM has a huge hype and flowing behind it, and I’m one of those puerile who love it as well. I have the EDT, EDP, Parfum and now this (have Precieux but that’s another topic) and each have their own slight differences but it’s the dna we love right?

How’s it smell? Well it’s… CDNIM. It’s nothing different that you haven’t smelled already, however it’s a bit softer in the opening and has a bit more pineapple and the lemon is toned down much more.

I feel like I get a bit more sweetness almost a very light vanilla but it fades away and then there smokiness/bitch notes come out, resembling older batches of Aventus.

Sillage is soft, it sits pretty close to skin and longevity is decent, nothing crazy all in all it’s another CDNIM and it honestly feels like a cash grab. If you don’t have any CDNIM already or you just really love collecting then sure go for it, but if you already have the others, I’d say maybe hold off.

Hawas fire- this just arrived today and I wore it for a little while so I haven’t gotten a chance to give it a full days wearing just yet, so tomorrow I’ll have to put it to the test more, however so far… it’s not bad at all.

It definitely has that Hawas dna, but still much different than ice and the OG. I can’t say it’s a clone of anything, but there’s something about it that smells familiar to me I just can’t figure it out. It opens up with a sweetness to it, but not that bubblegum sweetness the OG has, it’s a green aromatic type of sweet that’s safe to wear really all season.

Where ice has that cooling freshness to it and is a playful, sweet freshie, Fire is a bit more mature in a way and much more aromatic, that would be great during cold seasons, but still able to pull it off during hotter days, just maybe dial back the amount of sprays because it still could be too cloying.

Sillage seemed to be pretty good with about two feet or so for around 2 hours. Longevity as I said I can’t really speak on that just yet, but I’m hoping for something that can last a whole work day.

I know I’m no expert reviewer, I’m a guy who loves and appreciates fragrances, hopefully anyone reading this finds it helpful in some way.

Hawas fire, and CDNIM extrait. My 2 recent pick ups, and a quick thought on them.
