Rather barefoot than with socks?
Hey. Just a really random thing. I feel very intensely about socks (like apparently a lot of autistic folks) but I cannot stand the feeling of getting dirt, sand or dog hair stuck to the bottom of my socks. So the moment I get inside, I have to take off my socks. I also hate the feeling of sand beneath my feet, but being barefoot I at least know that nothing gets stuck and I can just wipe the dirt off on a mat or on the back of my other foot. I also don’t like wearing slippers or shoes inside because I feel like they will also carry the dirt through the house and also it makes sound where walking barefoot I feel light and free.
I basically just vacuum lots of times during the day and get stressed out about the dirt getting everywhere, (4 little kids and a dog) but I still loathe wearing socks. Also, even worse than dirt sticking to the bottom of the socks (or just the idea of it) is sand actually making its way through the fabric and then being inside the sock between my toes! Argh, I cannot stand it.
Does anyone relate?
