So...The T-Fight 305s. The hype is real.

Equipment

I played with this racquet over the last week and I now understand the hype. I tested over 50 racquets in the last year and it is indeed the best. It's also more comfortable off-center than most of its competition in the top 5 like the ezone 98 and the Pure Drive 98. In second place I would put my previous favorite, the Extreme Pro (God I hate the colors though). Then the Pure Aero 98. Then the Pure Drive 98 and the Ezone 98. But do not use the last two if you have arm/shoulder issues. Also, yes - my top 5 is only made up of 98s. If 98s were banned or something, I could use a Shift 99 v1 or a Gravity Pro without feeling especially disgruntled.

Back to the Tecnifibre - It is so perfectly balanced. It's just very good at everything. Serves feel great and pop off the strings even though my strings are quite stiff (Confidential 1.25). Same with forehands. Great power and precision when you time it well. Off-center shots provide good feedback and are pretty forgiving and often will still go in. The only time it's launchy is if you're late or leaning back. Stay forward and positive and the racket is both powerful and controlled. It rewards good footwork with excellent precision - not always the case with racquets like the Pure Drive 98 for example which can feel inexplicably unpredictable at times. Slice shots are not as good as the Blade 98 18x20 but they aren't far behind and Blade 98 slice is just absurdly good with its feel and precision. The fact that the 305s even comes close to it on top of all its other characteristics is an achievement. I use a one-handed backhand and it lacks power compared to my forehand but as long as I find the sweet spot, I get surprisingly good projection.

This racquet has no weaknesses. Without necessarily being the best at anything, it is the best racquet. I'm just blown away at how good it feels and plays. The worst part about it is the gaudy, busy paint job and I can live with that. It's worth it. If you're looking for a racquet, try this one first.
