Part...4?

Surgery today went well. It freaked me out being awake for the neph tube placement, but it wasn't too bad. PCNL was not successful in getting the whole stone though. Doctor said he was able to get about 85% of it. Apparently "Kenneth" is a husky boi and some branches were too deep into my kidney for his instruments to reach, so a ureteroscopy is my next procedure.

Pain isn't too bad, but I also haven't been doing much movement being in the hospital bed so we'll see how it is when I'm mobile tomorrow. They also did a single stent replacement, which I found interesting because I have 2 in the one kidney. Anyone know why they'd swap one but not the other?

Hopefully I'm discharged tomorrow, they said I would be. I'm cautiously optemistic.
