Need help choosing a cycle for my father (budget ₹15,000) – Btwin 120 or stretch for Btwin 500?

Hi everyone, I'm planning to gift a cycle to my father. He rides daily around 40–50 km, and on weekends sometimes goes beyond 70 km. My current budget is around ₹15,000, and I’ve been eyeing the Btwin Riverside 120.

However, I also came across the Btwin Riverside 500, which looks like a significant upgrade but costs more. I'm not sure whether it's worth stretching the budget for the 500 given his riding habits, or if the 120 is sufficient for his use.

Any advice from experienced riders would be greatly appreciated — especially in terms of long-ride comfort, gear quality, and durability. Also open to any other good options in this price range.
