Only american roaches spotted in specific parts of the house
Some background: For the last year, i've been having roach issues from between around july-october and this year, i saw my first american roach in May. I live in a north texan townhouse and haven't had this issue in all my 6 years of living here. I suspected they could have came in either from a bunch of stuff we moved over to my house from my cousin's house, or maybe from my neighbours. As mentioned earlier, my first sighting of a live roach happened earlier last month when the temperature started picking up outside. I still have a ton of baits from last year, so i've seen around 1-2 dead/dying roaches a week since then, supposedly from the poison. From what i've noticed, i've only had these roach sightings when the temperature of my house is set to relatively high (76-78F). The only 2 live roaches (one full sized, one nymph) i've seen were in my office spaces. The rest were in the unoccupied master bedroom used for storage (where it's always a few degrees warmer than the rest of my house and never gets any sunlight) with the exception of one in my downstairs kitchen. I like to keep my house very clean so even one american roach, dead or alive is very stressful to me. following the guides on this sub, i've got myself a pack of alpine wsg and started spraying it around my house, with a focus on the master bed/bath. Should I do anything else? How worrying are these sightings, and is there anything I can do to stop this seemingly yearly infestation? Appreciate you guys' help.
