Found moments of closeness in the distance

So, my boyfriend and I have been in a long-distance relationship for almost a year now. We both miss the everyday stuff, but last weekend, we decided to just stay on a video call all day without any agenda. It was kinda like being in the same room, doing our own things, but still together.

We cooked dinner "together" from our own kitchens—he made his famous pasta, while I tried a new stir-fry recipe. We chatted about nothing and everything, the way you do when you're just hanging out. There was this one moment where we were both reading, and he just looked up and said, "I love how we can still share a space, even from miles away." It honestly warmed my heart.

It's funny how those quiet, shared silences can mean so much when you can't be near in person. It felt so real and comforting, like a reminder that we're still us, even with all the distance. Tbh, those small bits of quality time, even virtually, keep us strong. 😊❤️
