Put A Fork in this Show. It's Done.
I knew a 4 hour "One-on-One" would be short on material, but I didn't think TLC would come up with something as ridiculous as what we've seen so far. If Sunday's show doesn't prove they have absolutely nowhere to go with this show, nothing does. They spent 10 minutes discussing Meri accidentally bumping into Kody while moving furniture, as if this was some pivotal event. I thought I was watching an SNL skit, especially when Suki asked Robyn whether it was "appropriate". Then they spent another 10 minutes on the fact that Kody once jokingly called Meri his "favorite ex wife". He's a doofus; he says stupid shit all the time. The "favorite ex-wife" comment would be at the bottom of the list of Kody-isms to interview everyone about.
As if that nonsense wasn't bad enough, Suki then focused her attention to something even more inane --- whether Christine and David would ever go on a "double date" with Kody and Robyn. I mean....talk about grasping for straws and drama. How many divorced people go on "double dates" with their ex and their ex's new spouse? The answer is virtually nobody, but dumbass Suki was acting like it was something everyone does to be argumentative and create drama. The question was awkward as hell, and for some reason Kody's brain had a passive-aggressive meltdown over it rather than responding with "Who the hell does that!?"
Some of the things Janelle said were the only worthwhile part of the entire episode. This show is rapidly becoming the TV equivalent of the phrase "making mountains out of molehills". In an effort to create drama, they are reaching to such ridiculous depths that it's barely watchable. Once they have me siding with Kody during an interview because of the stupidity of the questions being asked, they've lost me.
