How to better enjoy anal

So me (29F) and my husband (31M) have been trying anal for a while. He is very much into anal (he has never pressured me for this) and I have wanted to try it, both to please him and because I know it can open the door to additional pleasure.

Problem is I can't quite get over the idea it's unclean and it can feel like going to the toilet, so can never relax into it enough to actually enjoy it.

For folks who have moved from tolerating anal to enjoying it, what did you do to overcome this barrier?
