AITA for my partner getting mad at me for leaving

So to give context before this argument me and my partner were hanging out normally at their house cleaning the dishes and making food when all of a sudden they ask me if I can go home today, and I say yes because that’s reasonable. After then we go to their room and they say actually can you go right now and then they do this thing where they just start saying bye. And I ask them well can they at least walk me to the door and then they start giving me a look and seeming very mad at me. That’s when I ask if they are mad at me, and I get no answer and then they say why are you looking at me because it seemed like something was wrong and then I just get in. That’s when they shake their head disappointingly and walk back to their house and I’m quite confused at this point. They then call me and say “why’d you leave” and that’s when I said well when you asked for me to leave earlier I was expecting to leave later in the day not now and then I go back to talk to them but they got mad at me for already leaving by that point because I was texting them while driving. They then drive off not wanting to talk to me and I try going to find them asking them where they are and they are not answering. That’s when I look over until I realize they are home and that I had been chasing nothing. Then they ask me to go home and then get mad at me for then proceeding to still go home because I wanted to make sure they were fine. I’m just quite confused about this and while I’m writing this I’m outside their house waiting to talk yet they don’t want to and I feel like I’m being gaslighted and manipulated.
