Dragon's Breath and the Magic Action

In the 2014 rules when you cast the 2nd level spell Dragon's Breath it's a bonus action, and then you can use your action to breath fire (or ice, or lightning, etc) on your enemies. All in the same turn. Very neato.

In the 2024 rules it's still a bonus action to cast, but it's a "magic action" to use the breath weapon. Does this mean I can no longer cast it on myself AND breath fire in the same turn?
