A question for people with siblings (anyone can answer tho)

Discussion

This question might be a bit personal but not too personal. (Also - a long paragraph ahead!)

Here's a small introduction that's kind of necessary for what I'm gonna say. Since I'm going to ask you for your experiences as well.

I'm an only child and now a teen leaning over to the older side (but still can't do a job legally - our country doesn't have the practice of employing under 18 individuals -but wait - I'm looking) When I was a kid, my dad bought a PC (which was used offline at that time) because I was very behind in practicals in computer science and because I have no computer experience beforehand (we didn't have a computer at home before this). When he brought it home, he declared then, that it was a "family computer" and that it was for my educational purposes. Which it did, I started gradually getting better at practicals, and the pc allowed me to practice.

When I was 12 (or 13? Idk), I got a small offline budget smartphone. It was mainly to be used for listening to songs (mp3s downloaded through computer), maybe a little game or two, video editing and taking pictures of assignments to upload to the school through the computer (pandemic period). At the recent ages (14-15), I began to grow a more HIGHLIGHTED interest (it was there before too, but I never took action) for digital art and animation. I loved and drew cartoons since I was small. So I practiced a lot on the pc and the mouse. I don't think I'm a professionally good artist, but I really love what I'm doing..... My main thing was animation. Meanwhile, I tried to do these in my phone. I recently found it was actually a budget phone. According to my experimentation and research, It doesn't have the hardware capabilities to connect to OTG and it doesn't have HID in Bluetooth, to connect to a wired/wireless mouse. I'm not really sure, but my experiments didn't work at all, I tried dabbling in the settings, well no luck. And I bought a non electronic stylus with a silicon nib... Let's say it doesn't work very well... It's good for short taps but it's not good for long lines we use when drawing. It's actually hard. But I'll use it if my life depended on it. So I stuck to the pc. Well another point to make is my parents NEVER use the pc. They manage all their transactions and activities in their phone. I use the PC for school work, helping and doing things for dad's business and digital art and my own research as well. So recently (very recently) I asked dad, whether I can take the pc under my wing (for it to be mine officially) and he agreed.

I really love my own creative space and I really love my parents. You see, I don't like schedules, I just like to draw at my pace, and I really love exciting projects (both digital and non digital). I may not be a good professional artist, but my little GIFs bring me much joy.

Well... That's my story for now.

So how about people with siblings?

Have you got your own space for your hobbies? (Digital or Non digital)

Do your parents support your hobbies? (I'm not talking about doom scrolling)

If it's like digital art, coding or serious gaming- have you got your own device for that? (No matter what type of device you have- you can say, I mean, you can use your personal devices for that too)

What type of device you use then?

Do you establish boundaries with your siblings? (If they try to meddle?)

Anyone else who loves the peace of their own working space as a teenager?

Anyone else have my experience too?

(Please don't spread negativity in this post, I don't want more negativity to think about) (I'm not talking about entitlement!)
