Yes, sometimes a text is just a text ๐Ÿ˜…

So, I was texting my friend about plans for the weekend, and she hit me with a 'sure' instead of her usual enthusiastic 'sure!'. My brain immediately went into overdrive thinking I'd somehow annoyed her. Spoiler: I hadn't.

Turns out, my friend was just super busy and didn't have time to add that little exclamation mark. It's wild how we can read into texts like they're some kind of ancient rune with hidden meanings. Our brains like to fill in gaps, which is a classic example of the negativity bias. We're wired to spot potential 'threats', even if it's just from a lack of punctuation.

This whole thing kinda reminded me how important it is to chill a bit with text assumptions. Sometimes a message is just a message, no drama needed.
