Unbearable period pain with nausea + 20-day delayed cycle (PCOS, high prolactin, low ferritin(taking iron tabs since 1 month)) — Ayurvedic meds not helping, I don’t get my periods naturally — PLEASE help

Period

Hi everyone,
I’m genuinely struggling and really need advice or shared experiences.

I was supposed to get my period around May 12, but it finally came on June 2 — that’s about 20 days late. And when it finally came, the pain was UNBEARABLE.

I’m talking about:

  • Nausea for hours
  • Clenching bedsheets, crying, screaming
  • Unable to walk properly
  • Took 2 Meftal-Spas (one in the morning, one at night) — only then I could function a little

I’m still on Day 2 right now, and honestly, I’m in pain as I write this.

Background:

  • I have PCOS
  • Blood test 3.5 months ago showed high prolactin and low ferritin
  • My diet is very clean: no processed food, very occasional bites of outside food
  • I follow a high-protein, fiber-rich, balanced diet (no protein powders)
  • I regularly do yoga and exercise
  • I was taking Ayurvedic medicines this month too, but even with that, my periods came late and the pain is still unbearable , At this point, even Ayurvedic treatment isn’t helping anymore , I don’t get my periods naturally — they only come with some kind of intervention

Endocrinologist said…

I had seen an endocrinologist once, and he told me that “getting your period once in 2 months is fine.”
But honestly, it’s NOT fine for me — I didn’t get my period at all last month, and now I’m in the worst pain ever. So I don’t think it’s okay just to leave it untreated or irregular like this. It’s affecting my physical and mental health so badly.

What I’ve already tried:

  • Spearmint tea
  • Herbal teas before period
  • Magnesium spray
  • Hot water bag

None of these have really helped.

🙏 Please help:

  • Has raspberry leaf tea helped anyone with cramps?
  • Any natural supplements or remedies that genuinely helped?
  • Should I see a gynecologist, endocrinologist, or both?
  • Anyone else with PCOS + high prolactin + low ferritin experience this type of pain?

I’m doing everything “right” and still suffering every month (or sometimes two). I’m desperate to break this cycle — even just one thing that helped you might help me.
Thank you so much for reading. I really don’t want to feel this kind of pain again .. please reply and helppp!!!! any remedy and experience , would help pls!
