what phone should i buy

I'm currently using samsung galaxy s20+, but its got a green line on the screen now, possibly due to me dropping my phone a lot, but regardless, I'm looking to upgrade my phone.

I've been considering getting the s24 8gb/256gb as its 697 aud at Officeworks right now, and it's a comparatively new model and I think it would be a good match for me as I'm not really fussed over having the latest phone but I do want it to have a good camera. However I've seen mixed reviews on the s24 series and also don't want to pay an extravagant price, so I am hesitant to buy it. What should I do?
