College is the biggest scam of the 21st century — and we’re still pretending it’s a golden ticket.

Let’s be honest: outside of STEM, law, or medicine, most college degrees are overpriced status symbols. You’re not paying for knowledge — you’re paying for a piece of paper, a network, and outdated prestige.

Meanwhile, debt keeps people shackled for decades, and most of what you learn is either obsolete or Googleable. The job market doesn’t care what you know — it cares who you know, how you adapt, and whether you can sell yourself.

And yet we push 18-year-olds into 5-figure debt like it’s a moral obligation. Why? So they can spend four years memorizing theories they’ll never use?

College is a business. The product is illusion. Change my mind.
