41/male issues with ghosting /double vision in one eye

Hi everyone I am a 42 aear old male with congential cataractats on both sides. In August 2023 I was diagnosed with a retianal detachment in the left eye and had two vitrectomy surgeries after that. My left eye was always the weaker of the two, but after the surgeries it was so bad, that the optician reduced the correction for this eye. In mid 2024 I suddendly experienced double vision or ghosting in the right, better eye. I can mainly see it in high contrast situations, when it’s darker. One ophthalmologist that was in the same office as my usual one told me that the symptoms are because of a minor change of the position of the IOL. There is norhing they can do. After I went to my routine checkup to the normal doctor, he was laughing about his colleagues diagnosis and told me that the issue is mainly dry eye. I don‘t have the symptons all the time, but eye drops and blinking doesn’t help. Just rubbing thr eye sometimes does. I work and do my fee time mostly in front of the PC screen. What do you think is the issue there? Should I gp to hear a third opinion?
