With the talk of OKC potentially winning their first title in the coming weeks and their comparison to the KD/Russ era, it got me thinking - was OKC closer to their first ring in 2012 or 2016? 2012 when they actually made the finals and took a game but went against the Heatles? Or when they were one game away from facing the Cavs in the 2016 finals had they taken one game before dropping three straight to the Warriors?
