Am I overreacting this.

My father has this strange habit of chanting religious things loudly, and he has been doing it for maybe ten years now., he even cries while chanting. I don’t know why, but it really unsettles me. I don’t hate religion it’s not that I’m an atheist but something about this just feels off to me. Maybe it’s the intensity, or maybe I just don’t understand it. Am I being unfair? Am I overreacting
