Love of plants running in the family?

So my dad is also a huge plants lover. My parents house is full of them and of new pots with cuttings. I used to make fun of it when I still lived with them. But alas, my house is full of plants too and I love to take cuttings of them as well so apparently I do take after him lol. And I also casually mention how much I would LOVE a cutting of this or that plant. Did you get your love of plants from your parents/carers/family/friends? Did you make fun of it and now that you're older you find yourself in your own little jungle?
