What’s up with all this stupid forced ads in every mobile game nowadays!?

You start the game, lose once, and are prompted with “watch an ad to continue” you click no or skip (immediately gets hit with forced ad anyways) you watch a 15 sec ad of the game (you skip it) then it makes you try the game for 10 secs (you skip it) then it prompts you to install it and you skip it then you can play again.

Back then you would only have to watch ads if you wanted extra lives or coins.
