is there a point of me being muslim? (read while being open minded)
I know a lot of people say that even if they die and Islam isn't real, they will have no regret. But I will honestly have so much regret.
I don't love Allah, I don't believe He is all-loving, and I don't agree with a lot of stuff in Islam. But I'm too scared to leave Islam. Like seriously, you're telling me that I'll burn in hell for eternity along side rapist and murders for liking the same sex? And I really really hate the people in the ummah, especially the men who are 100% luckier. AND BEFORE YOU, IT CULTURE NOT ISLAM, culture and religion have always been intertwined. Like, for example, the only reason why men were allowed 4 wives was because culturally back then, well...women just weren't on the same level. Though I never understood why we never advocated for slave rights and women's rights. Also, what about black people slavery that went on for thousands of years? Did god just ignore them? And what did we women do wrong to get periods?
So let's say I continue to pray 5 times a day, I fast, I don't get married etc. Live life like a normal Muslim, yet still feel the same way as above. Will I even go to heaven?
And heaven doesn't sound appealing to me anymore, from what I heard, we're all just gonna act the same with no feelings. If I do go heaven I'd probably ask to live on earth again
