Architect from Oman Looking to Move to Germany – Need Advice!

Hey everyone,

I’m 24 years old, Indian, currently living in Oman. I have a bachelor’s degree in architecture (studied in Oman) and around 2 years of work experience. I’ve been thinking seriously about moving to Germany to work as a junior architect or in any related position.

Just wanted to ask a few things and would really appreciate any help or advice from locals or people who’ve done something similar:

• How’s the job market in Germany right now for junior architects or fresh grads?
• Do companies in Germany accept degrees from Oman? Will I need anything else to qualify?
• What’s the best way to move? Should I apply for jobs from here or go on a job seeker visa?
• Is German language a must or are there offices that work in English, at least in the beginning?
• What’s life like for young professionals in cities like Berlin, Hamburg or Munich? Will I be able to live decently and still save a bit?
• And overall—do you think someone like me has a real chance to get a job and build a life in Germany?

If anyone’s made a similar move, or knows how things work, I’d be super grateful for your input.
