Getting over gagging

Okay so I’m in nursing school, but I’ve been a CNA for close to three years now. I got my first hospital job in September (it was short lived, story for another time but now I’m back in assisted living), however I’ve noticed that since then I have uncontrollable gagging when it comes to smells. I literally used to be fine dealing with massive BMs, wounds, the worst of the worst (never could do vomit tho). It’s so frustrating and I never want my residents to think I find them gross or something.
