Why people still care about Altria?

Don't get me wrong, I understand completely that this is the wrong translation of her name and therefore I understand why people don't like it. However I do not understand why people whenever the word "Altria" appears they overreact so much like if it's the end of the world. Just why? Why you can't let it go and live happily?
