Are chinese e dirtbikes still ok with tariffs?

I had a Honda Grom in the past and since my accident I haven't been motivated to buy another motorcycle especially with checking insurance price, registration, etc.

Today while driving around I saw some guy on a surron or something of that nature going 50 mph without plates and realized in CO (previously lived elsewhere) you don't even need plates for e scooters, e bikes, etc.

I'd only want to ride around the roads at night or maybe to work on roads that are MAX 45 mph so I really don't want to spend " used car" prices for a hobby e bike but upon looking at others posts and whatnot I saw that there were some Chinese bikes that have similar specs to Talaria XXX and the Entry Level surrons that are quite cheap like this.

Is there anyone that has experience buying Chinese e dirt bikes? What's your experience?
