Should I even bother?

I plan on buying the SC ARC cummerbund V2 and using it with my Gen 3 IOTV. I have the SC placard currently in use with the AXL placard adapter. Questions is… Should I even bother? Has anyone else done this? I want to do a QD buckle on my shooting side and Velcro on my non shooting side. Does this sound stupid?
