Tonight isn’t just another IPL final - it’s the moment we’ve dreamt of for 18 long, emotional years. For those of us who’ve been here since 2008, when we were Kings XI Punjab, you know this journey hasn’t been easy. From the highs of semi-finals in the inaugural season to finishing at the bottom more times than we care to count, we’ve stuck with this team through heartbreaks, rebuilds, and endless memes. But we never stopped believing.

I still remember April 19th, 2008 - our first ever IPL match at PCA Stadium, Mohali. That was the day we found our identity - proud, emotional, and forever Punjabi.

We’ve watched legends like Marsh, Yuvi, KL, Sangakkara, Gilly, Miller, Maxiand Bailey give us flashes of glory. We’ve had our hearts broken in 2014, and we’ve been rebuilding ever since. This team has changed names, players, and captains - but one thing hasn’t changed: us, the fans.

This trophy, if it comes, isn’t just for the team. It’s for every fan who wore red even when the world laughed. It’s for every heartbreak we took on the chin. It’s for every 'Next year, bro' we whispered in May.
