An quintessential Indian fantasy ideas dicussion

I am just really curious to know about how does other writers see our demograph in the sense of creating an Indian fantasy which is independent of any mythological relations and is a completely new creation of the writers mind. It would be really fun if people would share a basic synopsis of their idea (it could be extremely vague of one is afraid of the idea being stolen). I would also like to know about the opinion about the market for fantasy novels in india which are devoid of mythological aspects (could be based on the modern india or in a parallel world). The ideas could be something one is currently working or an abandoned thought that once resided in the back of their mind.
