SOUTH WEST WATER and SOUTHERN WATER: Well that’s nice! 69% increase in June! WTF!

May direct debits £33.00 (note 1)

June direct debits £55.80

So an annual increase of £273.60

Yes, there was a long letter from Southern Water explaining the increase. But nothing from South West Water. That’s ok, you continue to pollute Christchurch Bay and take more money!

Note 1. And I just checked, last 5 years average monthly direct debits £31.30 (I’m a sad old accountant and have a detailed excel file of all household bills and our water usage has actually come down)
