disappointed of christianity
Im considering leaving christianity. Ive been not been baptisted but the gospel caught my interest some years ago. I think there would be a need of a redemptior but anything else just doesn't make sense.
I've been hurt deeply several time by people who belief in Jesus Christ. I also was met with hostility and accused of lying in this subreddit, when I really stated the truth about something personal. A neighbor who is very mean has a christian cross on her car.
I know that believers of jesus christ isnt the same as the gospel or the man who christians call messias. But also christianity with its 100, maybe 1000, contradicting branches dont make sense to me.
When I attend church Im never met with the kindness they talk about when I start questioning theology.
Yes, there are many group meetings as long as you strictly confirm. I do not feel seen as a whole human being.
When I share my struggles, they are just met with a 'let's pray' instead of actually listening.
I think I'm just not made for the gospel. Its not logic. And Ive havent met Jesus. Just believing isnt sufficient.
