will uploading a different type of video harm a current well performing one?

hello! haven't really used this subreddit before but I have a small youtube channel and a question:

I've being trying youtube casually for a few years now to very light success (a few hundred views to a thousand per video) but I have recently had a video I uploaded a few days ago explode and do far better (currently >15k and still rapidly rising)

I have another video that I want to upload and I'm worried that either

a: uploading a new video too soon will harm the current video, its been about a week but the current video only really took off in the last 2 days

or b: the video that I want to upload is fairly different from the video that is doing well, while they're both gaming videos, one is a video essay about one game and the other is a more casual first impressions/lets play about a different game

I believe that there is overlap between the two game audiences but I'm worried that either uploading a new video will harm the current one that is doing well/that they are too different and that the momentum of the current video will be stunted by a new different video

I've seen a similar question be asked in the subreddit before, although not about different kinds of videos, and uploading so soon (again its only been a few days)
