Snug Plug (or other B-vibe) with silicone lube

After some advice or experience pls.

Ive read the guidelines about only using water based "silicone compatible" tubes with B-Vibe toys..

But has anybody ACTUALLY tried using a pure silicone lube on them? Has there been adverse effects?
