Have to go to court what do u think the outcome can be

Location: Maryland. I’m an 18 year old man and we are at our senior beach week and my friend was going over the speed limit and he was pulled over. Everyone in the car was sober but the officer asked if we had wine because there was a wine opener in the bottom of the seat. Then he asks if there was alcohol in my bag which there was 1 can. I tell him yes out of fear that he would search me if I said no. He makes me dump the can and then gives me a court citation for Minor In possession of alcohol. What do u think will happen to me and what do. u think I should do
